Kingfishers are truly stunning birds, very shy and if you happen to see one you are very lucky, for they are often seen as a quick flash of orange or blue.
This lovely little painting was created in watercolours, by layering a mixture of bold and subtle
washes, then adding many, many tiny strokes of colour, so this is a really finely detailed painting.
Painted on smooth, acid free heavy watercolour paper.
Measurements: approx. 12 x 17 cm plus a few cm spare for framing purposes.
